Hey there my much-loved readers, I’m back with again an interesting story. Saturday (7 april), there was this Show. Not just a show, a show that one of my good friends organizes. It is called OhOhChaos . It’s not the first show he organizes but it was undoubtedly the best one. Normally we (Yes I refer to ‘we’ because I help Sten – organizer- with the shows) have around 3 bands and its starts late at the evening but now we had 7 bands and started at 4 pm. So we actually called this a festival as an alternative for a show. The bands were the following: Vuur, autumn delay and loathus from Belgium, Grinding halt (ex shikari) from Holland, Aussistot mort and celeste (ex mihai edrisch) from France and Jakuzi’s attempt from Austria. Now let me say this right away, it was the best show I’ve ever seen up till now. Vuur, autumn delay and loathus I had already seen in the past. But jakuzi’s attempt was the first band that amazed me, Combining screamo sounds with gabber hardcore isn’t very usual, but very effective. I think they played second and they defiantly set the mood. Grinding halt was good but rather a disappointment because I expected to hear more like their godly ex band. Then at around 10pm it all started: AUSSISTOT MORT. I can’t even describe this. The music was so heavenly, just needed to shut my eyes and drift away, this is the best live band I’ve ever seen. Then, as a perfect closure Celeste played! Those guys were pretty drunk but they did great. For being somehow different, they asked to dim all the lights. So we were all curious what was going to happen. Then the music started while using a stroboscope, rather unusual for a screamo band. But the singer was acting really weird, but effectively! He was touching everyone’s hair while singing and came about an inch close yelling his lyrics into your ears, while watching you fearlessly. He even was that drunk that he fell into the ground creating a meat pile, with everyone on him. As for the musical part it was my greatest experience ever.
So the show was okay, the ppl as well. I had to help a bit as co-organiser haha. Lennart was also there and not to forget Dorien, remember the entry of the girl who added me from slsk? Lol it has been awhile tho. Lennart had also brought a girl along with him. Caroline was her name i think, she was a nice girl, Lenn had a little crush on her but he’d ended up heartbroken because he’s a jealously type and she is over-social. So because the show was in mechelen and we knew that who would attract many ppl we arranged sleeping places and rented the local youth community’s shack. Also for the bands that were on tour, we had to provide a decent sleeping place. So the French ppl from Celeste and the guys of grinding halt. I suppose me and Sten were the only folks who could speak rather fluently French so we were kind of translators because the celeste people didn’t speak English that fluently. We had a great night. Some pot, some drinks, great crowd, can’t say more. I really enjoyed myself. I’ve also bought a Kidcrash T-shirt and a jakuzi’s attempt one. The show itself was big, even denovalli records were there, i mean, that’s big! And off rouse Mashnote records were there as well. Best show ever, nothing much more to say about that anymore.
The Thursday before me and Sten also went to a show in Brussels. A weird show that is. We’ve seen two bands performing. One ambience band who made music with a tape recorder and some bells, not really band though, more like 2 people sitting on stage. The music was cool, somehow different. The music set some kind of atmosphere and those guys (well more like one male and one female) really knew what they were doing. Everyone was high in there, that’s what the music was made for. The other band we saw was a Drone-metal band, again not really a band, a one man’s project. It is the bassist of sunn0))). It had a metal atmosphere with a voice transformer, all the guy did was playing guitar, the rest he had already recorded previously, but still very unique.
So how come i haven’t updated in a very long time? I had much too say but my internet let me down. My internet provider claims that we didn’t pay the bill but we just didn’t get one. So because of the boarding school (more on that later) and the lack of internet i failed to please you haha. But now i’m making up for it.
So boarding school is very pleasant now, i actually enjoy getting back to school tomorrow and see all those people again and enjoy myself with them. I even had a date with one of my teachers over there haha. I’m 19 and she’s 23-25, Doable, no? So the most fun people are: Anke, she’s very pretty and crazy, currently dating with sonar, another guy from boarding school. Not to forget: Sanne, a girl that almost spontaneously gave me a blowjob. She’s only 14 though... Lol I won’t make that mistake again ^^. Melanie is also still there, but i do get into arguments with her a lot, mostly because she’s seeing her boyfriend too much and abandons all of her friends, even her best friend Nathalie (my hairdresser haha). Eva is cool as well, she’s probably the most beautiful girl over there, but not really my thing haha. I don’t get along fine with the males over there. They are too immature in my opinion, but as long as i got my female attention (yes I admit it ^^) I’m good. <
